A Necessary Fiction was an exhibition of work of artist Basil Orton at Tower Hamlets Local History Library & Archives.
Working with Mile End Community Project, Human Stories created two films for the show. Raw material was recorded during a workshop which gave young people from the local community an exclusive tour by the artist. The group was then invited to engage personally with the exhibit through poetry, with these poems later recorded and turned into soundtracks for both an animated film and a promo for social media.
